Château La Tuilerie des Combes – Montagne 2000

Nice garnet red robe with a strong hue, shiny nose, very mature; the fruit tastes slightly like cooked fruit or fruit jam with pleasant flavours of liquorice, eucalyptus and a hint of dark chocolate.

Soft melting tannins in the mouth, perfectly round.

This round and running wine can be enjoyed as of today and will keep until 2007.

Château La Tuilerie des Combes «Cuvée Rubens» Montagne-Saint-Emilion 2002

This exceptional cuvée highlights the astonishing, almost magical potential of the best clay and limestone plots of the Tuilerie des Combes. No detail has been neglected in the development of this wine.

Everything has been done to obtain a wine of very high aromatic expression with not a tannic length that could be easily obtained by concentrating the vats but a real depth of taste that only the marriage between a terroir and a real know-how can bring.

Yields in relation to the vigor of the grapevine, vintage, very careful with an incredibly rigorous selection of grapes, gentle vinification and breeding in the best oak trees are the keys to the success of this wine which has nothing to envy to labels very prestigious.

One could even say that it defines a new style of pleasure, more in step with the new expectations of the amateurs in search of perfection, in search of finesse and race in the wines.

Its exuberant bouquet reveals an ultra refined woodiness, dominated by amazing aromas of fresh cream and spices (cinnamon, red pepper, subtle menthol notes). In the mouth, the wine surprises by its silky texture, totally melted and wonderfully velvety which will allow to drink it from its earliest youth. Nevertheless, he will be fit for reasonable care of 8 to 12 years.

It leaves behind the scents of gooseberry, gingerbread and an evocation of blond tobacco that even non-smokers will surprise themselves to adore! This wine does not present a great tannic persistence (so vulgar and easy to obtain) but well a stunning aromatic length.

It is a pure wine of pleasure, flavored with flavor, not “produced” but “chiseled”, to show what nature can offer more noble when man is in charge of sublimating its expression by the an abundant intervention in its direction.

Château La Tuilerie des Combes – Bordeaux Clairet 2002

This surprising Clairet boasts a cuberdon pink robe, crystal clear and light. Its particularly delicate nose is both fruity and floral, perfumed with rose petals, saké, rhubarb and an exquisite touch of cocoanut.

In the mouth, it is slightly greasy but the wine’s best and most striking feature is its perfectly fresh taste. It can be consumed without moderation (you can take our word for it…!) and without the fear of headaches in the morning. Intensely fruity, light and fresh, the Bordeaux Clairet from Château La Tuilerie des Combes has a natural balance that is simply enchanting.

Our region is undoubtedly very suited to the production of rich-tasting grapes, which, in turn, make fine rosé wines.

Château La Tuilerie des Combes – Montagne-St-Emilion 2001

With its carefully graded garnet red robe, the 2001 vintage of the Château La Tuilerie des Combes presents a mature bouquet with aromas of prune and caramel and a spicy touch of anise and celery. The smooth and supple tannins provide that silky taste so typical of merlot.

The round and smooth taste of this savoury wine heralds the changes undergone at the property since the 2000 vintage.

This particular success owes to better control of yields in the vineyard and to the quality of work in the chai.
